  • The UnStoppables: Tapping Your Entrepreneurial Power (Book Review)
Customers hold the answers to all your most important questions about your product, service, and brand.  The Wonderful Paradox is that the secret of getting what you want is to think most about what they want.

  • The Undefeated Mind (Book Review)
The key, according to Dr. Lickerman, is turning adversity into wisdom.

creating value for others is the key to attaining happiness for ourselves.

“Ironically, the best way to regain self-confidence when we find ourselves facing a problem we have no good idea how to solve may be by flinging ourselves, however blindly; into action, doing whatever we think we can. … what we get from trial and error that rumination can’t provide is the chance to view  things from vantage points we can’t acquire through theorizing alone.”

The toughest thing to do when you’re down is to take action.  But that’s exactly what you need to do.

In fact, preserving our self-confidence represents the single most important and challenging part of any attempt to accomplish a goal, a fierce moment-by-moment struggle that requires us to smash to pieces even the most fleeting of our negative beliefs.

  • How To Find Your Major Definite Purpose
    1. It must be something that you personally really want.  Your desire for this goal must be so intense that the very idea of achieving your major definite purpose excites you and makes you happy.

    2. It must be clear and specific.  You must be able to define it in words.  You must be able to write it down with such clarity that a child could read it and know exactly what it is that you want and be able to determine whether or not you have achieved it.

    3. It must be measurable and quantifiable.  Rather than ‘I want to make a lot of money,’ it must be more like ‘I will earn $100,000 per year by (a specific date).’

    4. It must be both believable and achievable.  Your major definite purpose cannot be so big or so ridiculous that it is completely unattainable.

    5. Your major definite purpose should have a reasonable probability of success

    6. Your major definite purpose must be in harmony with your other goals.  Your major goals must be in harmony with your minor goals and congruent with your values.

  • How to Write a Diary to Develop Multiple Good Habits
You will become more self-discipline, productive, mindful and creative.

Psychologist Wagenaar kept a journal for 6 years where he wrote two of the most important things that happened to him every day.
20 % of his memories have completely disappeared.

Write what happened, what you did, people you met.

Diary is a palce to not only write down your goals, but also to track your progress towards achieving them.

Diary provide accountability. The entries ensure that you constantly track progress.

Gratitude journal is a practice that has its foundation in solid psychological research.
First you need to recognize negative states when it happens.

When you find yourself feeling negative emotions, immediately write down something you are grateful for.

For gratitude to replace your negative emotions you need to feel grateful not just wrote about it. Describe what you are grateful for in as much depth as possible.

  • Create More Than You Consume
Jakow Trachtenberg was able to make it out alive retaining his sanity because he did not stop creating.
Creating doesn't just make you feel alive, but it keeps you alive.

You become smarter because you use your brain in ways you normally don't.
Reading is just another form of mindless consumption.

Creating value for others is the only way to make money.

Consumption without any purpose is a waste. It won't help anybody. And distract you from working towards your true goal.

If you want to run a successful business, then you need to be trying out different ideas by putting them into action.

Your aim should not be to achieve your perfect goal. Your aim should be to develop your skills over time by producing the volume of work.
The only way to get better is by constantly creating.

CC ratio = Amount of Time spent creating / Amount of time spent consuming

The more you create, the more you deserve to consume.

    1. Make your major definite purpose
    2. Allocate time
30 min/day creating something the takes you closer
    3. Plan your creation
You should never spend the 30 min creation process trying to figure out what you are going to do.
Do all your consumption outside the 30 min window.
    4. Automate creation
Do not rely on inspiration, motivation or will power to create.
    5. Create and consume mindfully
Writing a diary will make you more mindful of your consumption.
Also write down your performance during creation. How focused you were, how you can improve.
    6. Replace consumption with creation
Identify triggers that drives consumption, and spend time creating instead. Noting your consumption down in your diary is key.
    7. Personal analytics
You can log your time using Rescue Time.

FIND MEANING IN YOUR LIFE - JORDAN PETERSON [AMAZING] - YouTube
If you want to speak effectively, you have to know way more than what you're talking about.
You want to know 10 times as much as you're saying in the lecture, so that you can elaborate.

On the outside: you're not delivering a speak to a group. There isn't a group, there's a bunch of individuals. I alwyas talk to people one at a time.

There isn't anything that you can possibly do, that makes you more competent, in everything you do, than to learn how to communicate.
If you're a carpenter, being a good communicator makes you 10 times a better carpenter.

If you're a really good communicator, you don't win all the time, but everybody walk out thrilled of that communication. And so people line up to do things with you.
That all depends on you ability to communicate, so practice.

Compare yourself to who you were yesterday, and not to someone else today.

You're a danger to your children no matter what:
You can let them go in the world and let them be hurt,
Or you can over-protect them and hurt them that way.

Here's your choice: You can make your children confident and courageous, or you can make them safe.
But if you make them safe, and life isn't safe, you disarm them completely.

Despite the fact that life is suffering, people can transcend that by pursuing something of value. If there is no value proposition at hand, then there is no meaning to justify the difficulty of your life. He who has a why can bear any how. People who has no purpose in their lives first become bitter, and then resentful, revengeful, and the cruel, and that's just the start if you really are on the downhill path.

You have a lot of potential as a child, but none of that is capable of manifesting itself as freedom before you become disciplined. The order is necessary.

The most guilt you can experience is the sure knowledge that you're not taking care of yourself, so that you're leaving that responsibility to other people. That's pretty pathetic.
You're in guilt and shame, not only because you're not taking care of yourself like somebody else would have ask to, but you're not living to your full potential.

It's much more encouraging for people to concentrate on who they could by, rather than who they are. So to tell someone "you shouldn't feel good about yourself the way you are" there so much more you can be. People need to have a goal to come to term with their lives.

    The self is everything you could be across time;
Imagine there's you and the potential inside you.
Potential is not yet real, but people act like if it's real. You should live up to your potential.
Potential is what you could be if you interacted with the world in a manner that would gain you the most informations.

Humility: what you don't know is more important than what you know.
    Do you want to be right, or do you want to be learning;
Do you want to be the tyrant guy who has everything figured out, or do you want to be the continuously transforming hero, who's getting better all the time? That's a choice.
It's better to be the self-transforming fool, who is humble enough to make friends with who he or she doesn't know and to listen when people talk.

If you listen to people in your life, they'll tell you what's wrong with them, and how to fix and what they want. People would say something they don't even know.

Inspiration about Finding your purpose (A MUST SEE) - YouTube
    A. Maslow:

If you want to help another human being, you always puts your attention on what it is that they can do to improve, rather than on what is wrong.

What is necessary to change a person is to change his awareness of himself.

If you have any other thoughts about it, then you really have to work about it, because it's an insult to that from which that you came.
When you trust in yourself, you trust in that very wisdom that created you.
An inspiration is about having that.

Motivation is getting an idea to its own conclusion, and not letting anything interfere with that. Highly directed to a particular goal. To carry out an idea. It comes from within.

Inspiration is the exact opposite. It's when an idea get the hold on you and takes you where you were intended to go in the first place.

    ----
Young Composer: "Herr Mozart, I am thinking of writing a symphony. How should I get started?"

Mozart: "A symphony is a very complex musical form and you are still young. Perhaps you should start with something simpler, like a concerto."

Young Composer: "But Herr Mozart, you were writing symphonies when you were 8 years old."

Mozart: "Yes, but I never asked anyone how."
    ----
The reason Mozart didn't have to ask anyone how to write symphonies is that symphonies presented themselves to him, invented, enlarge, produced, all at once in what he described as "lively dreams". Dreams that were so forceful that he had to stop what he was doing otherwise, and write down what he heard, almost as if somebody behind Mozart's consciousness desired these symphonies to be written.

You can find your calling by just being someone to listen.
Awareness: there is something that is calling you. When an idea gets the hold of you, you get to this place of surrender. You let go. You allow this great spirit to infuses you. It becomes this thing bigger than your life. That propels you in direction that you're willing to listen to.
But you have to change the awareness of yourself.

We are pieces of God, we came from a divine source. We have to trust in our divinity. We have to understand that we are not this package of bones and skin: that's the false self, it's an illusion. Who we really are is what we came from, it's eternal, it's kind, it's unlimited, it excludes no one. We are here as spiritual beings having a human experience.

    You Edged God Out (EGO).
Belief system: who I am is no longer this infinite diving being who can step outside and observe.
We bought in an idea that who we are is what we have, is what we do, is what other people think I am, is separate from everybody else, separate from our source.
Inspiration is moving back into spirit. In a way that you no longer accept yourself as anything else but divine.

Rumi: The morning breeze has secrets to tell you: do not go back to sleep.

    Patanjali:
When you are inspired, by great purpose, extraordinary projects,
1/ all of your thoughts break their bonds.
    2/ your mind transcends limitation
3/ your consciousness expands in every direction
4/ and you find yourself in a new, great and wonderful world
5/ Dormant forces, faculties and talents come alive
6/ and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be.

1/ thoughts that keep you disconnected from your source, out of harmony with spirit
Imagine a ladder, with on top "My desire aligned with spirit".
What is it that I offer up to this top rank desire? It needs to have thoughts, feelings and behavior that match.
    Thoughts is energy.
Einstein: nothing happens until something move.
"Ask and it is given" (about desire): we attract what we don't want (because our thoughts focus on what we don't want), or what's missing in our life.
    It's on his way.

By believing passionately in that which does not exist, we create it. That which is nonexistent has not been sufficiently desired.

Mark Twain: Forgiveness is the fragrance that the violet sheds on the heel that has crushed it.

My daughter had been a trouble maker. I called a family meeting. Each on of us told her how her behavior was affecting everyone else. How I couldn't sleep, how worried, how upset.
That night, she went out and behaved in the same way she did all along. As to say: I just don't need to hear how bad I am any longer.
    Peace Pilgrim:

In the Babemba tribe of southern Africa, when  a person acts irresponsibly or unjustly, he/she is placed in the center of the village, alone, unfettered. All work ceases.
All gather around the accused individual. Then each person of every age, begins to talk out loud to the accused. One at a time, each person tells all the good things the one in the center ever did in his/her lifetime.
Every incident, every experience that can be recalled with any
detail and accuracy, is recounted. All positive attributes, good
deeds, strengths, and kindnesses are recited carefully and at
length. No one is permitted to fabricate, exaggerate or be
facetious about accomplishments or positive aspects of the
    accused person.
The tribal ceremony often lasts several days, not ceasing until
everyone is drained of every positive comment that can be
mustered. At the end, the tribal circle is broken, a joyous
celebration takes place, and the person is symbolically and
literally welcomed back into the tribe. Necessity for such
    ceremonies is rare!

    Ram Dass:
    Dear Steve and Anita,

Rachel finished her work on earth, and left the stage in a manner that leaves those of us left behind with a cry of agony in our hearts, as the fragile thread of our faith is dealt with so violently. Is anyone strong enough to stay conscious through such teaching as you are receiving? Probably very few. And even they would only have a whisper of equanimity and peace amidst the screaming trumpets of their rage, grief, horror and desolation.

I can’t assuage your pain with any words, nor should I. For your pain is  Rachel’s legacy to you. Not that she or I would inflict such pain by choice,  but there it is. And it must burn its purifying way to completion. For something in you dies when you bear the unbearable, and it is only in that dark night of the soul that you are prepared to see as God sees, and to love as God loves.

Now is the time to let your grief find expression. No false strength. Now is the time to sit quietly and speak to Rachel, and thank her for being with you these few years, and encourage her to go on with whatever her work is, knowing that you will grow in compassion and wisdom from this experience. In my heart, I know that you and she will meet again and again, and recognize the many ways in which you have known each other. And when you meet you will know, in a flash, what now it is not given to you to know: Why this had to be the way it was.

Our rational minds can never understand what has happened, but our hearts – if we can keep them open to God – will find their own intuitive way. Rachel came through you to do her work on earth, which includes her manner of death. Now her soul is free, and the love that you can share with her is invulnerable to the winds of changing time and space.

    In that deep love,
    include me.

    In love,

    Ram Dass

Why Life Coaching Works - YouTube
A mentor gives you the step by step approach, he already went through the problems you're facing.

    A coach makes you think.
    He asks questions.

You can think by yourself, but you don't realize you're being stuck in your own pattern of thinking, and coaching is to give you a different perspective, to give you a nudge so you can be set on a different track.

Sometimes you only need one shift, one question you never really thought by yourself.

Coaching makes you think more deliberately. Most of the time we're lazy to think. To set goals, to ask what we really want, thinking strategies.

As a coach, the easy part is to give advice, or what I would do, or what other people did. Because I read a lot of literature on self-help.
But the trick is: It's not a lack of knowledge that keeps you blocked. It's more your limiting beliefs you're not aware of.

One HABIT That Will Change Your World - Bob Proctor - YouTube
    Napoleon Hill:
Those who reach Decisions promptly and definitely, know what they want, and generally get it.
The leaders in every walk of life Decide quickly, and firmly. That is the major reason why they are leaders.
The world has the habit of making room for the man whose words and actions show that he knows where he is going.

    Einstein:
The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant.
We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.

When you change the way you look at something, that something will change.

Most people don’t make decisions because they can’t see how they’re gonna get there.
So they keep doing things that they can see how they’re going to get there. And that’s why their lives never really change.

Your mind and thoughts must be focused on the same frequency as your goal.
    Make a committed decision, irrevocable.
Think and act at this higher frequency, like the person you want to become.
You’ve got to trust the image you hold in your mind.
It takes a decision to move to that higher level of frequency.

The moment your belief matched with any state you fuse with it, and this union results in the activation and projection of its plot, plans, conditions and circumstances.

This new state of conscious awareness becomes your home from which you view the world.
It is your workshop, and, if you are observant, you will see outer reality shaping itself upon the model of your imagination.

Quit going after things you already know how to get. There’s no real gain in that.
Don’t compromise. Go after what you want.

  • I learn 3 new skills a month, and so can you! – Danny Forest – Medium
“Will” comes for free if you’re consistently doing things you consider useful.

You have to track your progress. Your brain needs a little dopamine rush to keep you going. When you start listing skills you’re interested in learning, give yourself milestones with hard deadlines.

The simplest way to track progress is to have simple checkboxes. Once you feel like you’re good enough in the sub-skill, check that box! Whoohoo! Success!

Some say that to find success, you must focus on a particular set of skills. I personally challenge this “rule”. I like diversity. I like to be adaptable. I like to relate to other people’s stories.

  • The 3 Most Important Skills to Learn Now to Thrive in 2019
Skill #3: Learn to Get to Action:

If there’s one thing I can say without any doubt it’s that I’m a pro at getting to action. I often surprise people with having done something less than 24 hours after we talked about it.

But this is also one of my big weakness. I tend to charge ahead, sometimes not thinking enough about if I even have the time to commit. This often led me to do too many things at once, not having the time to deliver quality results.

But I stand by this skill.

In this world, there are underthinkers and there are overthinkers, with hardly anyone in between. Underthinkers don’t think things through, and hardly follow through. Overthinkers spend so much time planning that they forget to act. You don’t want to be like that.

If you don’t act, you don’t get. It’s that simple. Nothing meaningful comes to you for free.

Get into the habit of putting actions in your calendar.

Take notes. Your memory is not good enough to recall things you’ve heard or seen. When you can refer back to a thought you had, you’re statistically more likely to act on it. Take notes in class, while watching videos, while listening to podcasts, while talking to people, etc

Do daily, weekly, and monthly planning. Every Friday or Saturday, I plan my activities for the next week. As mentioned above, that gives clarity on where my time is spent on my productive activities and hobbies.

Journal your heart out. Sometimes there are too many decisions to take and that clouds our judgment on what we should act on, leaning us to more often than not work on urgent but not important tasks. Journaling is a great way to free your mind and be aware of all the decisions that are “required” from you. It also helps for your daily, weekly, and monthly planning.

    Do things for others.
So whenever there’s something you want to do, think about what it brings to other people. I’m no people pleaser but it helps to think that way. Even for things you think only benefit you.

Skill #2: Learn to Adapt to Change

“It is not the strongest of species that survive; nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the most adaptable to change.” — Charles Darwin

It was true millions of years ago, it is just as true today. In fact, I’d argue that it’s even more important today because the world changes at the fastest speed it has ever changed.

    Comfort is opposite of thrive.

he listed a number of things to do that are out of your comfort zone, like having lunch with a homeless person, jumping in the water fully clothed, laying down on the ground in a public place only to stand back up a minute after, pretending nothing happened (I think that was popularized by Tim Ferriss), and more. I tried a few things from his list and it was eye-opening. Try it out!

    Skill #1: Learn to Learn

“The future belongs to those who learn more skills and combine them in creative ways.” — Robert Greene.

My approach is to learn 3 new skills every month. I practice 30 minutes each every morning for 30 days. I usually choose skills that work completely different areas of my brain. If we agree with Robert Greene’s quote from above, then we agree that becoming a polymath is a surefire way to thrive. Working skills across different areas of your brain will do just that.

By resting, I don’t necessarily mean sleeping. I mean calming your mind to let your subconscious do its work.

A great book recommendation I have is: How We Learn: The Surprising Truth About When, Where, and Why It Happens

Consistently do focused practice, rest your mind, and repeat in smart ways.

  • Are You Introvert? Here’s Why You Should Write – The Writing Cooperative
Introverts have so much to say. Potentially more so than extroverts.

    1. It allows you to express yourself the way you really feel

“Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes”―C.G. Jung

Writing is a phenomenal way to express oneself.

Outside of Medium, I had started journaling during that time, after following Benjamin P. Hardy’s course. Writing in my journal has dramatically increased my self-awareness, and in general just made me a better person.

    2. It helps you connect with other like-minded people

    Conclusion

Writing allows you to express yourself freely, helps you connect with like-minded people, make you go outside your comfort zone and expands your horizons.

    Are you an introvert?
    Have you tried writing?
    Where do you write?
    What do you write about?
What benefits have you gotten from writing?
If you don’t write, why not?
    What’s holding you back?

  • Why Most People Don’t Achieve Their Dreams – The Ascent
“Excellence is not a skill. Excellence is an attitude.” — Conor McGregor

The best thing you can for your productivity is to start with a positive mindset.

When you see the world in a bright light, things are clearer. The path to “success” is clearer and seems more achievable.

    1. Surround yourself with like-minded individuals
Have you ever noticed how your mood is strongly affected by the people you surround yourself with?

Someone who has been through similar experiences, who is currently experiencing similar things, or who is having similar life goals.

    2. Invest in a mentor-mentee relationship

    Be a mentor yourself.

There’s nothing more uplifting than doing your best to help someone else.

    3. Read Biographies Near The End-of-Day

I like reading that I have similar thoughts or habits as Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos or Elon Musk for example. I like to read that I like the same food as Winston Churchill or grew up in similar situations as Angelina Jolie, Kanye West or Barack Obama.

To me, it gives me hope that I can achieve more, like them.

    5. Watch Motivational Videos
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3sK3wJAxGfs

If you need uplifting, watch one or two a day.
But just be careful though, they can be quite addicting.

    6. Read Inspirational Stories
I first started reading on Medium about a year ago. It is the stories of the people that got me addicted.

Much like reading biographies, you learn that you’re not alone in your hardships. But the difference here is that people on Medium are more approachable.

  • How to be Successful? [23 Keys to Success in Life]
It was the first time in my life that I realized how important is what you see or don’t see out of the window.

Not just the window of your house, but the symbolic window too, the perspective you get or don’t get.

Sofie didn’t have dreams; she had hopes and needs, but not dreams.

Dreaming allows you to see into the future; lets you imagine how great you can be and how to get there. Dreams are motivating and inspire you to choose the best version of your destiny.

It sounds obvious. However, you might be surprised how many people are drifting through life without a sense of direction or roads to take.

    Strive for a win-win outcome

Making people feel important is one of the most powerful secrets to influencing people.

How to be Successful? [23 Keys to Success in Life]

    Success
A few years ago I met Sofie, a woman living on a council estate in London. She had two teenage children, a husband, and a dog.

“We were pretty happy until five years ago when Jeff had an accident that left him unable to work. Ever since we are living on his disability pension and my modest salary,” she said.

“I lived on coins all my life, and I’m tired of it,” she said.

“What do you mean, living on coins?” I asked

“To use any utilities: electricity or water, we have to put coins in the meter. I don’t want my children to grow up as Jeff and I did. I want a different life for them, but I feel stuck, and now, we are about to lose the apartment because we don’t have enough money for the rent.”

bee-yellowThe council estate was a complex of U-shaped buildings with a concrete paved courtyard in the middle, quite grim to be honest.

Sofie took me to the balcony and said:

“This is the view of my life,” and pointed to an apartment in the opposite building “my parents live there, Jeff’s parents live a few floors up; we grow up here. My whole family lives here: my sister, my brother in law, us, and our parents.”

It was the first time in my life that I realized how important is what you see or don’t see out of the window.

Not just the window of your house, but the symbolic window too, the perspective you get or don’t get.

At that moment I felt so privileged for the place where I grew up. It was a tiny apartment (not even half of Sofie’s apartment), I didn’t have my room, nor my own desk, nor my own closet, but I had a window!

I saw green fields, hills, and a river. My perspective in life wasn’t constrained by the walls of our apartment.

window-viewMy father was an avid reader, and our house was full of books, another window to many different worlds.

We were not rich, but I did not know that Sofie’s world existed. I did not know that what I have is one of the most precious things in life: a perspective that allows you to dream.

Sofie didn’t have dreams; she had hopes and needs, but not dreams.

That is how your success in life starts: with a dream!

Sofie lost the apartment; then she moved out of London; she has now a good, well-paid job; Jeff, as well, has a part time job and together, they are building many dreams for the future.

Your success in life starts with a dream!

How to be successful in life
How to Be Successful - 23 Keys to Success in Life

    1. Start with a dream
dreamingDreaming allows you to see into the future; lets you imagine how great you can be and how to get there. Dreams are motivating and inspire you to choose the best version of your destiny.

    2. Define what you want
know-what-you-wantIf you take random actions, you get random results. Is it not?

Know what you want and make a doable plan of action to get there.

It sounds obvious. However, you might be surprised how many people are drifting through life without a sense of direction or roads to take.

What you want is not always straightforward. If that is the case, begin with those things you feel that are missing from your life. Start with necessities and then, go up to your desires.

Make a plan of action for your needs and wants. Follow it, step by step; be prepared to stand up again if you fall. Celebrate even those moments when the result is not exactly what you wanted because that means that you are moving forward – you know better what works for you and what doesn’t.

Define what you want and create the desire to get there.

    3. Keep your mind switched on positive
What is the result of your thought?

Are your thoughts the beginning of something positive for you or the end of it?

Positive thinking is a skill. Therefore, if you don’t have it yet, you can learn it.

girl-smilingI guess you don’t live in a bubble. Many things are happening that are out of your control, and a part of those things are not good things. However, the majority of bad, unfortunate things have an upside too. Keeping your mind switched on positive means to search, notice, acknowledge and celebrate the good part of things and people.

Wherever you look, there are beautiful things and ugly ones. What do you choose to notice and emphasize the most are determining the chain of thoughts you have: a positive chain or a negative one.

You don’t live in a bubble. Life happens even when you stay still. Is it raining? Great, the tree you planted will grow and thrive. Did one of your friends get out of your life for no apparent reason? That means room for a new, more compatible, friend.

Remember that whatever happens has an upside: search for it and you will find it, it is right in front of you.

    Language patterns

Change the way you speak to yourself and others. Use positive and encouraging words.

    For example:

“Remember to do [that]” compared to “Don’t forget to do [that]”
“The way I tried doesn’t work, tomorrow I will do it differently” compared to “I’m a failure”
“I will thrive in spite of my past” compared to “My past always keeps me down”
“I have three amazing friends” compared to “Most people are mean”
    4. Live with integrity
    Keep your word
Be honest, straightforward, assertive and genuine
    Correct your mistakestruth
Step over your vanity and fear and offer your appreciation to those that deserve it
    Strive for a win-win outcome
Be true to your standards, morals, and values
Apply the same standard to yourself as to others
    5. Make people feel important
bouquetA tiny bit of our desire to feel important is a matter of vanity. However, the biggest part comes from our need to feel useful, accepted, valued and memorable.

Who wants to be invisible? Who wants to be left out? Who wants to be small and insignificant? I guess, no one!

Making people feel important is one of the most powerful secrets to influencing people. There is no success without collaboration and there no collaboration without trust, mutual respect, and acceptance.

Make people feel important and amplify your power of influence, win trust and respect and you will become important to them as well.

Who are the people that you like the most? Those that like you back! Who are the most influential people in your life? Those who make you feel good about yourself; those who make you feel important. Is it not?

    6. Empower others
Success means almost nothing if you have no one to whom you can share it.

helpFor virtually every bad stuff in your life, there is a specialist that can help you to get through it. However, there are no experts for sharing success and happiness. Therefore, it is down to you to help people to grow alongside you. It is down to you to empower people to improve themselves for their benefit and yours. It is down to you lift people up to meet your standards.

A leader knows that success comes from having the best team. Right?

    7. Apply what you learn
Don’t be a knowledge hoarder and wait endlessly for the right time, more resources, more information, the perfect conditions and an external push to start your journey.

Success is a journey and what you have and who you are today are enough to get started!

Should I mention that hoarding knowledge and information can lead to mental paralysis?

Should I mention that hoarding knowledge and information can lead to mental paralysis?

Too much unused and untested knowledge can leave you confused and overwhelmed.

The most successful people are those who learn one way of doing something and then go with it; learning more and improving along the way because (you see?) nothing is perfect, and the unexpected is always around the corner.

Learn and then apply, wait no more, start your success journey today!

Yes, it is good to be present in the now; yet, success doesn’t come that quickly. Therefore, invest in your future because there is no point in feeling accomplished only now and then. Strive for a long-term success.

Has it happened to you to know something well, to be very skilled at it and successful only to discover that you don’t enjoy what you are doing?

It happened to me and, to be frank, I was disappointed and discouraged. I felt as if all those years spent on it went to waste; and that I’ve invested too much in it to stop and do something else.

Therefore, I cut my losses and moved on, and now I’m delighted that I did.

However, pay attention that life doesn’t give you endless opportunities and chances to start over.
